Rae Town Old Hits, founded in 1982 and Jamaica's longest lasting music event, linked up with Alpha Boys School Radio, which broadcasts on behalf of Jamaica's longest lasting music school, for a special live broadcast of the Rae Town Old Hits dance session from the Embassy of Spain lawn in Kingston last August 4.

The tribute features music by Klassique Disco including Senor Daley and Welton Irie at the controls. The audio excerpt also includes the Chargee of the Embassy Carmen Rives, who introduces the evening, Dr Joshua Chamberlain who provides a brief history of sound systems and Sister Norma, the founder of Rae Town Old Hits who offers a vote of thanks from the Rae Town community.
